London Photographic Holiday
Modern London is culturally diverse offering photographers a fantastic juxtaposition of old and new. Steeped in ancient tradition and history join us in exploring this visually rich and dramatic city.
Our aim is for your photography to benefit from joining one of our photography holidays.
We will show you how to make the most of composition, exposure, colour, tonal value and texture in all of your photos. We will encourage you to look with fresh eyes to try new angles and incoporate new subjects into your visual language. You will take time to evaluate a scene with the intention of achieving creative capture which is individual to you. Above all, we make time for studied shots.
We will explore traditional monuments and iconic landmarks of London like Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Changing of the Guard, Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge alongside exciting cityscapes, architecutre and street entertainers. We shall also journey to Royal Kew Gardens and to Royal Windsor to ensure that your photo journey is enriched with landscape, foilage, great Victorian architecture and macro shots. We shall also have time to explore some of the very English delights of a small town in Windsor. Advice is on hand at all times during photo shoots.
We shall also ride the London Eye and enjoy panoramic views across London.
The views from the London Eye are magnificent. You can see 40 kilometres in all directions with views over London's most famous landmarks. We shall fast track to the capsule..
We use the London Tube and the fast and modern Docklands Light Railway to travel between photo locations. Local transport is included in the tour price. We shall have time to enjoy 1 river trip which is also included in the tour price. We use a people carrier for our trip to Kew and Windsor. Entrance to Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle and the London Eye and travel by people carrier is included in the tour price.
This is a fantastic photo holiday tour with varied photo locations and plenty of photo shoots. Early morning and late evening/night photography is also included in the itinerary. There is also free time for you to explore and enjoy the many attractions of our great city. We require a small deposit of £50 to reserve a place on this tour. Go staight to Reservations
Our hotel is centrally placed and you can enjoy all of what London has to offer during your free time. Theatres, museums, pubs, bars and warm summer evening strolls along the River Thames. All rooms have ensuite and breakfast is included in the price of the tour.
This tour is suitable for those who want to learn more about photography in a friendly environment in the safety of a small group. Photos are reviewed if you wish during a break. We shall review digital images on a large laptop screen for tour members who would like feedback.
