Q: Why a tour with London Photo Tours ?

A: We have lived in London for over 20 years and we know our way around as photographers. We have a track record of tours in London.

Q: What is the client/tutor ratio ?

A: We have two tutors whereas most photo tours have one. We will go out with a minimum of 3 clients (ratio of less than 2 to 1 !) and we will take a maximum of 8 clients.

Q: Will I need to bring a tripod ?

A: This is not so important in London because you usually have something to lean on, but you may feel you need one if you use telephoto lenses or do not have image stabilisation. Night photography is best with a tripod.

Q: What transport do we use for the tours ?

A: We use various transports which will always be mentioned on the tours page. Such transport will usually be included in the price. You will have a travelcard which you can use at anytime. For the trips to Kew and Windsor we will use a people carrier - again this is included in the price. We will also make one trip on the river - again this is included in the price.

Q: Can I bring a non-photographer partner ?

A: Yes - there is a 15% reduction on the fee. (London Explorer Tour only)

Q: Will I have time to spend in London visiting other attractions ?

A: Yes, we will be with you about 8 hours a day and the rest of the time is your own to spend as you wish (you have a travel card included in the tour price which you can use in your free time).

Q: Is there somewhere I can backup my memory cards to DVD ?

A: Yes, we are right here ! We have a notebook computer and can burn DVD's for you and also keep a backup of your work until you inform us you are 'home and dry'. There will be a small charge per DVD.
