This is a unique portrait photography workshop, working outdoors, using natural light and outdoor settings and locations. With expert tuition from Lou Smith you learn the fundamentals of composing and positioning subjects in relationship to the location and backdrops.

Finding the Photographer Within - Masterclass £149 with Lou Smith

This is an exceptional course which enables you to make creative judgements about how to see and use available light. You explore composition, colour, surface and texture, exposure and point of focus in your images.  This course is delivered in modules.

• Introduction to Full Manual Mode (M on the exposure dial)

Using full manual settings on your camera, you explore shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and manual focus. You learn how to use manual exposure to achieve creative and correct exposures. Step away from using auto or semi-automatic exposures - learn to use full Manual properly.

This photography course explores full manual mode. Learn how to use Manual in a controlled way and understand how to achieve better exposures. This is a structured course and short projects are set to demonstrate manual settings.

Suitable for digital cameras which have full manual control - M setting on the exposure/shooting mode dial.

This photography course is suitable for photographers who are comfortable with their camera settings and already have a good working knowledge of Aperture priority and Shutter speed priority settings.
