Keeping Cool on the South Bank

While London basks in sunshine we keep our cool during the heatwave. The South Bank is full of amazing photographic opportunities. During this week’s photography course on the South Bank we explore a few of the South Bank’s dynamic visuals.

The South Bank is packed and people crowd around the Appearing Rooms. They are cool.  Rooms appear when the water flow changes. People rush through to the new room as it appears. When all the rooms are full the water reaches its height and people are kept cool in the centre of the Appearing Rooms. The trick of course is to do this and not get wet! Impossible as the breeze blows the water any which way it can and cools everyone down. The Appearing Rooms are the City Beach and everyone; adults and children have a lot of fun moving from room to room.
