Ahh…the feel of China Town is just great. Colour pops everywhere we look. We make the most of our surroundings as we walk through the new gated entrance on our Chinatown Photo Walk . This photo tour is led by Lou Smith Fine Artist and expert tutor. The day is beautifully illuminated and light fills the scene – this is a great start to our tour.
Explore Colour during a Chinatown Photo Walk
Red Chinese lanterns cover Chinatown and are hung from building to building across the streets. Lanterns fill the space over each street in Chinatown and are also hung along the sides of a building and above doorways. This is a fantastic celebration of the Chinese New Year and the lanterns are still in place even at this time of year. Lanterns hang like strings of pearls across the streets. Everything is festive and colourful as it looks like New Year is ongoing. What more could we ask for on during our ChinaTown to Covent Garden Photography Tour.
Our tour attendees admire the surroundings and aim to get the best out of their cameras with Lou on hand to show the best Chinatown has to offer. This is a scene of repeating rhythms where the shape of the lanterns are echoed throughout the location. We love the colourful shop fronts where reds and blues burst out and make us want to click our shutters. This is an intoxicating experience of high key colour which we want to frame again and again.
Our Chinatown Photo Walk is suitable for all photography skill levels and for all types of digital cameras from compact to DSLR. There is something for everyone during this photo tour. Join us and discover the secrets of Chinatown with Lou.
