General Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions (Photography Tours and Workshops Day and Night)

1). Stated prices are per person.

2) If for any reason we are unable to run a tour/workshop (prior to departure) we will refund all fees paid (to clients that have a confirmed booking) and our liability will ceases thereafter. London PhotoTours are under no obligation to provide compensation and will have no liability for consequential loss. If you prefer to accept a rescheduled date, our terms and conditions of booking still apply to the reschedule.

3) You may cancel a tour up to 7 days before departure and receive a full refund, less a course withdrawal fee of £20 per person for scheduled courses/tours and £30 per person for private courses/tours, up to a maximum of £175, whichever is the least. This may be done by email or phone. If you reschedule a booked date we do not charge a course withdrawal fee. We do not accept cancellations or rescheduling less than 7 days before the course. We do not give refunds on Gift Certificates or Vouchers.

Due to Covid-19 if you feel unwell or have Covid-like symptoms please do not attend. In this circumstance you can give a minimum of 24hrs notice and we will support you in helping you to reschedule your date.

4). Scheduled Photo Tours and Workshops are for adults 18+ only. Please note the conditions below for young people under 18.

Individuals aged 16 to under 18 can attend scheduled and private tours/workshops with a responsible adult who also pays a course fee. Young people under the age of 16 can attend private tours/workshops with a responsible adult who also pays a course fee. Prices are per person, so everyone attending pays a tour/course fee.

5). Only the person(s) booked may attend. You cannot bring non-participating companions even without a camera. If you have special needs that require a helper then please contact us beforehand to arrange this.

6). Photo Tour/Workshop participants must bring their own camera. You must ensure your camera is in proper working condition. Please ensure your camera battery is fully charged and that you carry a spare. You will almost certainly take more photos than you expect to so do bring extra memory cards.

7) Refreshments and meals are not included in the price.

8) Admission to any attractions is not included unless stated. Most buildings in London e.g. Westminster Abbey do not allow photography inside the building.

9)During a photo tour or workshop the tutor may take individual and group shots of attendees. We may publish these photos on our websites and/or social media sites to show what our tours are like. If you wish the photo removed please contact us in writing and we will do so.

10) Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts and offers. To receive a discount on the tour or workshop you must use the discount code at time of booking online. Discounts cannot be applied in retrospect.

11) If you book a discounted course the discount applies only to the date you booked. If you rescheduled a discounted course date you will have to pay the regular course fee if that date is not already discounted.

12) When accessing any online tuition content students must have basic internet skills in order to view it. We do not teach internet skills. When you log in you are considered to have used the resource and it is too late to cancel or ask to be refunded. Also our online content pages may contain google ads which can take you to external websites if you click on them. We are not responsible for the content of external websites accessed this way, since they are served up by Google.

13) You are responsible for your own insurance and the insurance of your equipment during the tour/workshop, please check your holiday insurance if necessary. Any injury or accident must be claimed against your insurance. London Photo Tours does not accept liability for any injury or accident happening during a tour or workshop.

14) We reserve the right to refuse any booking by making a full refund shortly after payment has been made.

15) Payment of fees constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. In the case of a payment for more than one person, the person paying is responsible for informing their group of these terms and conditions and obtaining consent, before making payment.

16) These terms are understood to apply under English Law only.

Terms and conditions (Digital Photography and Editing)

1). Stated prices are per person.

2) If for any reason we are unable to run a course we will refund all fees paid and our liability will ceases thereafter. London PhotoTours are under no obligation to provide compensation and will have no liability for consequential loss. If you prefer to accept a rescheduled date, our terms and conditions of booking will apply to the reschedule.

3) You may cancel the course up to 7 days before the start date and receive a full refund less £30 cancellation fee per person, up to a maximum of £175, whichever is the least. We do not accept cancellations or rescheduling less than 7 days before the course. If you do not show on the day the course fee is forfeit. This may be done by email or phone.

4). The Tour and Workshop is for adults 18+ only. You will have 1:1 tuition throughout for an individual. For a private group of 2 there is 1 tutor for the photo tour part of the weekend and 1 or 2 tutors for the digital imaging.

5). Meals are not included in the price. Light refreshments are provided on Sunday as stated in the workshop description.

7) Travel to or from our venues are not included in the price.

8). You are responsible for your own insurance and the insurance of your own equipment during the tour and workshop. You should insure yourself against any injury or accident sustained during either the tour or workshop, or on the workshop premises. In the case of a payment for more than one person, the person paying is responsible for informing their group of these terms and conditions and obtaining consent, before making payment. London Photo Tours does not accept any liability for injury or accident during a tour or workshop.

9). Payment of fees constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

10). These terms understood to apply under English Law only.

Terms and Conditions Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are normally valid for 12 months.

The validity has now been extended to 18 months for all gift vouchers during the covid 19 crisis.

1) We do not give refunds on Gift Certificates/vouchers.

2) Your Workshop or Tour must be completed by the expiry date on your certificate.(now extended)

3) Scheduled Gift Certificates can be upgraded to a Private Option by paying any extra fee.

4). Only the person(s) booked may attend. You cannot bring non-participating companions even without a camera. If you have special needs that require a helper then please contact us beforehand to arrange this.

5) Terms for Tours and Workshops as above also apply (except number 2 & 3 about refunds and cancellations).

7) If for any reason we are unable to run a tour/workshop (prior to departure) we will offer alternative dates (including an extension if your certificate is due to run out within one month), and any liability will cease thereafter. LondonPhotoTours are under no obligation to provide compensation and will have no liability for consequential loss.

8) The recipient is responsible for redeeming their certificate before the expiry date either online using the redeem link on the certificate, or by contacting us by phone or email.

9) Please check the type of workshop or tour on your gift certificate: the recipient is responsible for making sure the workshop or tour they have chosen is for the correct type of workshop (private or scheduled).

10). If you need to reschedule after you have booked a workshop, we require a minimum of 14 days notice. We are fine to do this as we understand that you may need to change your date. If you change your booked date a second time we charge an admin fee of £30 to take into account some of the additional work we have done on your behalf.

11). We reserve the right to ask you to select an alternative date/course if a course or tour does not have a minimum of 2 enrolments (scheduled only).

12). These terms understood to apply under English Law only.

If you prefer to accept a rescheduled date, our terms and conditions of booking still apply to the reschedule.

7) During a Photo-Me tour the photographer will take individual and/or group shots of attendees. We may publish these photos on our websites and/or social media sites to show what our tours are like. If you wish the photos removed or not used please contact us in writing and we will comply.

8) All images remain copyright of the photographer. The images provided are chosen by the photographer. Please allow 7 days for images to be enhanced and ready for download.

9) You are responsible for your own insurance and the insurance of any equipment you bring during the Photo-Me tour, please check your holiday insurance if necessary. Any injury or accident must be claimed against your insurance. London Photo Tours does not accept liability for any injury or accident happening during a tour or workshop.
