Christmas Carol Singers don their Santa Caps!
We all know that Christmas is coming when we hear the first carol singers of the season. Here is a fantastic group of carol singers standing on the steps of St Martin’s in the Field Church in Trafalgar Square. They are just getting ready to sing it loud for Christmas. We came across the Carol singers during a Photography Masterclass with Lou. We had just completed the manual exposure module and the group headed off to practice their new understanding of exposure. Who could resist an impromptu photo documentary and street photography shoot? We asked permission to photograph the carol singers and of course it’s Christmas, the conductor said Yes! Brilliant – we get off to a great start for the morning’s photography session.
This gives a great opportunity to photograph a large group who do not mind our lenses being pointed towards them. It also gives our photography group practice at getting close to capture candid street photography. Here, the leader starts to put the carol singers through their paces as Lou puts our group through theirs!
The Santa Carol Singers listen patiently to the lead carol singer and get ready to sing. Our group of photography students and Lou thank everyone for their participation. All in all a great start to Finding The Photographer Within – Masterclass with Lou. Take the next step in your photography journey and reach your creative potential with Lou. Merry Christmas everyone, make it count!
