The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist Sculpture

Today in Trafalgar Square we photographed the new sculpture on the 4th plinth, created by artist Michael Rakowitz.  Just recently sited this is the latest sculpture to take its place on the modern plinth.  The sculpture is constructed from 6,000 used tin cans of date syrup and is a colourful addition to the scenic nature of Trafalgar Square.  The sculpture called The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist will be sited until 2020.

The 4th plinth is a changing free space which has a rolling programme of new works rather than a permanent fixed piece.  This makes for great photography and since 2005 London Photo Tours and Workshops has photographed the changing nature of the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square.

Join us next time and get your own view of the new sculpture as a keepsake for generations to come.
